Union Gospel Mission - Calvert Place (for Men) Dallas, TX - 75247 (214) 637-6117 Calvert Place Men’s Shelter – Serves Men Age 18+: Intake is done at The Bridge, the city’s homeless services provider, 1818 Corsicana Street, one block west of the Farmer’s Market in downtown Dallas, and takes place between 4:30-6:30 daily, seven days a week. Clients are bussed to Calvert Place during the late afternoon to early evening, and bussed back to The Bridge in the morning. When a client goes through intake, he is assigned a particular bed. That same bed is his for as long as he stays at the shelter (capacity is 335 beds). The men’s facility has secure lockers, where clients are allowed to store some of their possessions. Union Gospel Mission - Center Of Hope (for Women & Children) Dallas, TX - 75235 (214) 638-2988 Center of Hope Women & Children’s Shelter – Serves Women Age 18+ and their Children:Intake is done at the COH, Mon.-Fri., 9:30 a.m.-noon, and 7 days a week from 1-4 p.m. Stays are 90 days, unless entering our Discipleship Program. Each client and her child(ren) are assigned a room to themselves (capacity is 225 beds with 35 rooms).
