Community Ministry Of Montgomery County - Horizon House Rockville, MD - 20850 (301) 762-8682 Horizon House provides permanent housing for formerly homeless adults in homes scattered throughout Montgomery County, MD and is currently housing 25 adults. The program provides case management for every resident in order to work on individualized goals for greater self-sufficiency. Many clients are working or involved in education and job training programs. Although the program can be permanent for those who choose to say, more than 90% move to more independent housing within three years. Some residents have even purchased moderately priced homes with the guidance of Horizon House staff. Horizon House is a project of Hope Housing, administered by Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless since 2002. |
