The mission of CHARG Resource Center is to advance a model of genuine partnership among individuals who live with mental illness, mental health professionals, and the larger community through respectful comprehensive services.

The mission of the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) is to engage the community and its resources in providing basic, preventative, and support services to families with children who are in homeless situations or at risk of becoming so.IHN realizes its mission by providing transitional shelter and supportive services to homeless families and those at immediate risk to experience homelessness. IHN's primary goal is to assist families with children to permanently transition into independent affordable housing; secondary goals include meeting community transitional housing needs in the most cost-effective manner possible and providing congregations with an opportunity to put their faith into action.The Interfaith Hospitality Network derives its name from its numerous partnerships with area congregations that provide shelter and direct support to homeless families; the network includes congregations of diverse faiths and denominations. However, IHN is a secular nonprofit organization whose services are available to all families with children regardless of personal religious beliefs; Network congregations are strictly prohibited from proselytizing to guest families.

Through a unique partnership with diverse communities of faith, Family Promise provides emergency shelter, meals and supportive services to homeless families in the Greater Denver area.The Family Promise of Greater Denver along with over 50 congregations, assist homeless families by providing temporary shelter, meals, transportation and assistance finding work, housing, counseling and supportive services.Family Promise operates under the model of “hospitality”. Volunteers are the program’s “hosts” and the families staying in the Network are our “guests”. We work to meet the guests’ basic human needs with a spirit of warmth and compassion.

Champa House provides long-term help toward self-sufficiency in a residential setting for single women with dependent children.This 9-unit transitional housing facility has the capacity to provide living accommodations for nine women and up to 25 children.

Harvest Farm is a fully operational farm and rural home for men in our New Life Program. The 209-acre farm can house up to 72 New Life Program participants, ages 18 and older, and hosts the Mission’s Annual Fall Festival. It includes a Lifeskills, Education and Career center; a food, clothing and furniture outreach; maintenance and auto shops, and a three-acre irrigation pond.

The Adelante program is a self-sufficiency and transitional living program for families experiencing homelessness in the San Luis Valley. It aims to empower families to become self-reliant and financially independent by guiding families in gaining skills, experience, and support that will improve their quality of life. Adelante is a two-year intensive program that not only supports families as they transition out of homelessness, but also provides tools for them to move beyond it

Transition Program residents work closely with Shelter case managers to determine what has led them to homelessness, and what steps they must take to overcome their situation. Transition Program residents must live drug and alcohol free, pay a weekly program fee, and abide by a budget and savings plan.  To qualify for the Transition Program residents must have sustainable income that can be verified and an obtainable transition plan. Program residents have the opportunity to stay in a semi-private dorm room. The year-round transition program has a maximum stay of nine month

There are two local Salvation Army Corps in the Pike’s Peak Region, located in Colorado Springs and Fountain Valley.  Our beliefs are based upon the Bible, and correspond to other mainstream denominations. We believe that God loves us; that because of Jesus we can have a relationship with God; that friendship with God is the source of all help, hope and peace

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING-Our federally-funded Housing Opportunities and Mentoring Enrichment (HOME) program allows us to provide women and families with low rent, temporary housing for up to two years after leaving the Safehouse. Program participants also have access to advocacy, counseling, community referrals, life skills workshops, 24-hour property management and legal services.

Shelter is a fundamental human need. We recognize there are many reasons an individual or family finds themselves in need of shelter. Our program services are offered for chronically homeless individuals, the mentally ill, low-income families, those who aspire to own their own home one day, women and children seeking refuge from a domestic violence situation, and  female veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder and more. Our programs offer permanent, temporary and transitional residents with support services designed to foster self-sufficiency.

Provides subsidies for homeless families with children so the family can enter into a lease with a private landlord. Participating families pay 30% of their gross annual income towards rent.

Facility owned by Housing Solutions which  provides housing for homeless families with children and is available for 5 families for periods ranging from 6-24 months, to get them stabilized and into self sufficiency

Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program was designed by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to assist any individual or family that does not exceed the federal low income limit with long term rental assistance.

La Puente is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Colorado's San Luis Valley by providing food, shelter, and advocacy for the homeless and community members in crisis.  La Puente endeavors to meet immediate needs and to empower people to live independently with dignity.
