Mission-A faith-based collaborative that empowers Northern Kentucky children and their families experiencing temporary homelessness to attain sustainable independence.

Boulware Mission is a homeless shelter located in Owensboro, KY that transforms lives and strives to alleviate homelessness through education, treatment, and case management services.

Whether it is a homeless man in need of a meal or a single parent seeking a better job that enables her to care for her family, we believe that meeting the spiritual needs of those who come to us is as important as helping them live productive, self-sufficient lives.  We know that God is a restorer, making that which is broken whole again and through Him we see real change.

Women’s Day Shelter (Can accommodate up to 40 at any time, Monday – Sunday)

The Euphrasia Treatment Program provides structured group living and clincial services for up to 68 girls ages 11 to 17.

Treasure Home is a community-based treatment setting that provides an array of treatment services for adolescent girls ages 13 to 19. The program has a capacity for 12 girls and is supervised by a master's level clinician

Boulware Mission offers a myriad of programs to our clients; including, but by no means limited to, those designed to address: physical health, mental health, effects of addiction on the family; legal issues; spiritual health; emotional health;  forgiveness; anger management; financial literacy; parenting; coping skills; life skills; education/training; job skills; relapse prevention; compulsive behaviors; exercise and meditation; no-touch savings; and housing.  We also offer DUI classes to the public; the ‘Alcohol and Other Drug Entity’ Treatment program is licensed under the KY Cabinet for Health and Family Services.  For a more extensive listing of our services, see our program listing.

More than 34 years and counting, that is how long Chrysalis House has been saving lives. Chrysalis House relies on the generous support of the community. Chrysalis House was established in 1978 with six beds on the grounds of Eastern State Hospital. Today, Chrysalis is a comprehensive agency with three residential facilities, a forty-unit apartment complex, eighteen scattered-site apartments, a 18,000 square foot, multi-purpose community center, and two playgrounds. Chrysalis House serves over 200 women and their children annually and is governed by a 30-member board of directors.

Mountain Haven is a 24 hour shelter with 16 beds for runaway and homeless youth ages 12 - 17 years of age located in Morehead, KY.
