It is the mission of the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter to support and strengthen the community by providing emergency shelter and supportive services to people who are homeless, or at risk, and to advocate for collaborative, locally driven solutions to end homelessness

The "G.R.A.C.E. Program (God's Redemption Assurance Compassion Ethics Program)" is a Bible based-Christ centered, faith-based rehabilitation program. It begins with the Word of God, is built upon the authority of Scripture, and is structured according to Bible doctrine: 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.The G.R.A.C.E. Program at Hope Haven Gospel Mission is designed to provide, and instill, a godly style of living, in a safe and healthy, family oriented environment, for men (ages 18 years old and over) who may be in need of either spiritual or personal structure for their lives.
