Details: The Life House is a residential treatment facility that offers substance abuse treatment to men ages 18 and older. While at The Life House, clients are involved in various therapeutic, recreational and community recovery-oriented activities. Each client is assigned a clinician upon admission and given a thorough intake interview following which an individualized treatment plan is developed. Clients engage in weekly one-to-one counseling sessions in addition to a multitude of group activities which focus on: chemical dependency, sharing "life stories," recovery values, anger management, grief and loss, relationships, character defects, recreation, vocational skills, social skills and daily living skills.
