Details: The Hospitality Kitchen provides breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday. Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Lunch is served from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Hospitality Kitchen serves an average of 1,200 meals a day to more than 4,000 people a year. The Kitchen is closed on all major holidays. In addition to meals, the Kitchen provides chaplain services; homeless veteran outreach; assistance accessing food stamps, medical coupons, and state disability payments; a psychologist; information and referral services; and coats, socks, blankets, and toilet articles to homeless individuals. The Kitchen also provides board games, cards and a daily movie. The Kitchen provides a safe and respectful environment to homeless and low-income people in Tacoma and Pierce County. There is no fee for services.
