Details: Beginning in 1988 The House of Bread renovated two buildings on Lincoln Street in order to provide safe, decent and affordable housing to additional men and to women who are in substance recovery programs. These transitional facilities are home to nine men and seven women. Each house has an alcohol/drug counselor as a house manager who encourages independent living. Each resident must make a commitment to remain connected with support services while in residence.
