Details: New Beginnings is a seven-unit transitional housing program for single males that allows residents up to a two-year stay before moving into permanent housing. New Beginnings is attached to our Men's Emergency Shelter and residents must stay in our shelter for 30 days before being eligible to move in, and must also have substancial and consistent income. Residents have their own rooms but share a bathroom and common area with the other residents in New Beginnings. Residents sign a lease and are required to pay 30% of their gross income (up to $320) for monthly rent, perform daily chores, maintain income/employment and take nightly breathalyzers and random urine analysis'.
