Ruth Meiers Hospitality House - New Beginnings Bismarck, ND - 58501 (701) 222-2108 New Beginnings is a seven-unit transitional housing program for single males that allows residents up to a two-year stay before moving into permanent housing. New Beginnings is attached to our Men's Emergency Shelter and residents must stay in our shelter for 30 days before being eligible to move in, and must also have substancial and consistent income. Residents have their own rooms but share a bathroom and common area with the other residents in New Beginnings. Residents sign a lease and are required to pay 30% of their gross income (up to $320) for monthly rent, perform daily chores, maintain income/employment and take nightly breathalyzers and random urine analysis'. |
Ywca Cass Clay - Cass County Transitional Housing (for Women & Children) Fargo, ND - 58103 (701) 232-2547 The Transitional Housing (TH) and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs provide secure, affordable housing and help participants develop the skills needed to achieve independence. Support services include case management, financial assistance with rent and utilities, transportation, and childcare. Women and their children may participate in the TH program for up to two years, and in the PSH program for as long as they need the additional support. |
Red River Valley Community Action - Shelter Plus Care Program (for The Disabled) Grand Forks, ND - 58203 (701) 746-5431 The Shelter Plus Care Program is a program designed to provide housing and supportive services on a long-term basis for homeless persons with disabilities and their families who are living in either places not intended for human habitation or emergency shelters. Â The program allows for a variety of housing choices and a range of supportive services in response to the needs of the hard-to-reach homeless population with disabilities. Ruth Meiers Hospitality House - Horizons Bismarck, ND - 58501 (701) 222-2108 HORIZONS provides permanent housing to 25 single men and women in a single room occupancy (SRO) apartment complex. HORIZONS residents must apply through North Dakota Housing Finance Agency in order to be deemed eligible for residency. Residents pay 30% of their gross income (up to $400) for monthly rent and must sign a one year lease. HORIZONS is a security building that has an on-site resident manager and is within close walking distance to Ruth Meiers Hospitality House and all of our supportive services. |
